Co-curricular Organizations

The UPRHS is not only developing students who excel in their academics but also in the different organizations by way of training them to become leaders in their capacity as high school students. The UPRHS Co-Curricular Program is a peripheral of the curriculum which aims to:

  • provide a venue for students’ talents and skills development;
  • enhance leadership abilities and tap talents;
  • help students develop interpersonal relationships and unity among themselves;
  • develop work ethics and create social awareness among students; and
  • provide opportunities for students to serve both the school and the community.

All of the departments at UPRHS are handling a particular organization. In each department, a faculty is assigned as adviser of the organization. The officers of each organization are elected in a school-wide election during the month of February, before the school year ends. The members and officers act as co-workers of the faculty members in the department in carrying out its activities.

The student organizations at UPRHS are classified as compulsory clubs wherein all students are automatic members, interest clubs wherein members have specific interests and year level organizations.
